Chrysler 8.25" Axle Torque Specifications
Here are the torque specifications I have listed for the Chrysler 8.25" axle in my collection of Factory Service Manuals. All years appear to be the same, from 1986 to 1997.

Differential Cover Fill Plug 1/2" NPT 25 pound-feet N/L
Ring Gear to Differential Carrier --- 70 pound-feet Replace when Removed
Universal Joint Strap Bolts --- 170 pound-inches Replace when removed
