This is the AMC four cylinder gasoline engine that is so common in Jeep vehicles, starting about 1984. This should not be confused with the GM/Pontiac 2.5L/151ci "Iron Duke" engine, used in CJ's from 1980 to 1983 or so. These engines share no common parts, and internal specifications differ significantly.
